Should I get a pure water window cleaning with my house wash?
That’s not necessary. When you get a house wash, the windows get scrubbed and cleaned in the process. And while there will be some mineral deposits left on the glass, it’s sufficient for most people. A pure water window cleaning should be saved for sometime in the future when you do need a window cleaning but you don’t need a house wash.
Should I wait until dry season to get a house wash?
Not necessarily. Since we scrub the house with a soft bristle brush on a water-fed pole, there’s no dirt left behind for the rain to “wash down” and redeposit onto the house. In other words, the rain itself won’t cause the house to become dirty again. However, if it’s raining on our scheduled cleaning day, we will have to reschedule due to weather.
Why can’t you perform a house wash on a 3+ story house?
Unfortunately, we are not currently able to wash houses that are 3 stories or higher. This is because the water-fed pole only goes so high, and it’s too dangerous for us to go over a certain height. In the future, we plan on getting a truck with a boom lift to accommodate 3 story homes.
Will the soft wash solution harm my plants or landscaping?
Never. We pre-rinse the plants and landscaping prior to applying the bleach solution (which is already pre-diluded with water). Then we rinse the plants again during and after the bleach application. It biodegrades within hours of being applied, especially with exposure to water and sunlight. Pair this with our careful application, and no problems will arise.
